Bio

I’m a Puerto Rican vet student at MSU CVM, class of 2024. I graduated from my Bachelors degree in Animal Science this may 2020. My interests in veterinary medicine as of today are shelter medicine and nutrition. Back home I worked in an animal sanctuary and also took part in poultry nutrition research, among other fun stuff I did. We’ll see where this journey takes me now! When I’m not studying I enjoy going outdoors and training weightlifting. I’m also inseparable from my 3 year old dog Louie, a three legged mutt with lots of love to give. I’m looking forward to learning and implementing the work-life balance I need as I start my veterinary career in order to keep myself healthy and be able to offer the best version of me to my patients.
