Bio:

“Find the light in the dark, bring your strength, let’s restart” -Heather Anderson

Heather began working as a veterinary assistant in 2015 and graduated with her B.S. in biology from Methodist University in 2016. She initially planned to pursue her DVM, but after three failed attempts to get into vet school, she felt her purpose was elsewhere.

Following several life changing events Heather began writing poetry. Hundreds of poems later she organized her first book and found something worth sharing. Heather empowers her readers to “find the light in the dark”.

In her typical day Heather brings positive vibes to her veterinary clinic, hits the gym for after work stress relief, and meditates on ways to improve her life and others. On her days off she is found in nature seeking more inspiration for her poems.
