Biography

Carrie Oakes is a Get MotiVETed Student Rep who is also serving as a Team Leader. Carrie is a Purdue University CVM Class of 2022 Student who has an amazing story of overcoming adversity. She also adores all things wellbeing related and aspires to make a difference in the wellbeing of veterinary professionals.

Her veterinary interests include African Wildlife and Anesthesia. In her spare time, she likes to get involved in anything nature related to help her remain grounded remain grounded. She enjoys journaling because reflection is necessary. She also enjoys spending time with the ones she loves because you have to remember where all of your love comes from in the first place!
